Good question. Id say benightedness. But saying liberals are genetic defects sounds alot cooler. And easier to say.

I don't think it is a genetic defect, but it would be great if it was, that way there could be a cure, what a wonderful thought.

It is the same thing as Socialism (its basically Socialism lite) it sounds really good, it sounds like it will take care of everything. Unfortunately it doesn't work. It is also a VERY lazy way out. If it doesn't work, spend more money... see we care, now lets go home.

The country knows how bad liberals are they are not fooled. Think about how many Democrats have been elected into office since WWII.... John Kennedy, Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton. Thats it, Johnson came in to replace Kennedy and continued on for a second term but you can only really count one of the two, I'd prefer to count Kennedy.

Or look at it another way for 20 years since WWII the Democrats have had someone in the White House, at the end of Bush's term the Republicans will have 36 years, its almost 2:1, why do you think that is?

to lpkm: You better just hope the Democrats will an election before 2050, don't worry about your bubbles.

I am impressed that all the liberals on here actually have intelligent comments...that is a strange abnormality!! But I think it is a genetic defect in their brain that makes them incapable of thinking outside of what they are told..

Conservatism is a genetic defect caused by inbreeding. Republicans don't want change and are frightened of the world outside of their little bubble. Thankfully, us liberals will pop this bubble by 2050

Excessive benightedness brought on by brainwashing in the public school system, slanted journalism from the "mainstream media", an ignorance of history or unwillingness to learn from it, and a simple lack of common sense.

And, btw, Shell, it isn't conservatives who want to control, it's liberals who keep people in the endless cycle of welfare slavery, keep business and industry from efficiently doing their jobs by way of over-regulation based on pseudosience, and try to silence people's right to express their religious or political views by way of political "correctness"

liberal means to live and let live to not try to be so controlling of others. to force your beliefs on other people.
That is the definitation. If more people did that we wouldn't have war. We wouldn't have control freaks telling others how to live their lives. If Republicans would just chill out and quit trying to force everyone to do what they wanted this would be a more peaceful place. But that is never going to happen and fighting will never stop. Because you cannot control everyone.
