Currently, I like Big Papi. He has a great attitude and plays just like I do: Hit the ball hard and run as fast as you can to the base( which isn't very fast). Besides, he's the coolest guy in baseball right now too, he's modest and doesn't really diss on other players.
Before the 1990's it has to be Willie Mays. The guy had the five necessary skills to be a great player: speed, fielding, hitting, hitting for power, and throwing. Not only did he have all of these skills, he excelled in every single one. I say if he hadn't played at Candlestick park, he would have broken the Babe's record without any doubt. He also had one of the greatest attitudes of all time.
