Is the war in Iraq worth the cost? I don’t see how anybody could say yes! Sure Saddam was n A- Hole, but there are so many other dictator the world over that make Saddam look like a pushy girl scout peddling cookies. The war was based on lies, lies that have costed out great nation almost 3,000 of our brave young men and women. So I guess that my question is That, even though Saddam Was a Jerk was he really worth 3,000 of our soldiers, or should our resources been used for, oh I don’t know maybe invading Saudi Arabia who helped fund 9/11 and also where most of the hijackers originated from? Because those 3,000 American lives are gone forever, they were unique individuals that have never existed before and will never exist again! And the lives of there families are changed forever.

No it is not... not even if 100 years from now Iraq is a replica of the USA. Why not even if that happens? Because who are we to decide for others? Who are we to say that our way is the right way?

Getting Saddam out of power was an important accomplishment. He was a terrible dictator of the Iraqi people. However, the war was very poorly planned, and because of it, we can't take our soldiers out. Now, many of them are dying or are getting hurt do to the terrible aftermath. We can only hope that things will turn out for the best, and that all these lives and resources will end up being worth it even if they aren't now.

the war was poorly thought out and poorly planned and will probably come to no overall good in the end
I'm pretty sure we killed and injured more Iraqis than Saddam would have over the same time period and Iraq is chaos
