I have a BSc (Hons) in Pharmaceutical and chemical sciences degree from England. I have recently moved to Canada, and was wondering if I would be able to become a science teacher here. Which college/university in Montreal would have the necessary courses?

Since they are both Commonwealth countries, the transition will be easier than elsewhere. You will find useful general information at:

Teacher qualification by province:

It looks like McGill offers teacher training in Montreal, but they say,
"In order to be eligible for a permanent Quebec Teaching Diploma, candidates must be either Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents."

However, McGill does not certify teachers - they only train them. For certification you must look at the Ministry of Education:

http://www.mels.gouv.qc.ca/

(most of the relevant information for you is in French)

Good luck!

You would need to complete a two-year post-degree Secondary Education program at any reputable university. Once you've got that degree, you will be certified to teach in the province you completed the degree in. If you wish to move to a different province, you need to apply to their college of teachers and pay to have your paperwork verified.
