I bought a new acrylic bathtub and the tiling seal was on the wrong side. When I removed it, it left behind a sticky glue, similar to when you remove a sticker from a bottle.

Any easy ways to get it off, w/o ruining the acrylic?

The cheapest way is rubbing alcohol on a clean rag. If it doesn't work then try goo gone.

Nail polish remover or ethyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) will work on adhesives. **** PLEASE, test in a small inconspicuous area before applying anywhere elese to your new tub!!! You may be able to hold the store accountable for a damaged item and have it replaced if you don't want to risk using a solvent.

PS: WD-40 works better than Armor All on your car!!! Just DO NOT USE on the tires, you know the whole oil on the brakes thing can be a bad thing.

GooGone. I use it whenever I buy anything made out of glass or plastic that has a sticker stuck on it.

Acetone will work very well....the same stuff they use to remove fake finger nails...just use enough to wet the adhesive and it will easily come off.

WD40

Takes off all kinds of glue. You can use it on your bathroom mirror to keep if from fogging up as well.

Goo gone is great. Baby oil works most of the time, too!
