I received a watch a couple of years ago and I would like to remove a link but I really don't want to take it in if I don't have to. any suggestions on how to remove a pin from a watchband....

You need to be a Jeweler and have the proper tools or you will just mess it up!

Normally the pins in the links work like the holder for toilet paper rolls. When you push in one of the ends you can take it out. A very small screw driver or knife blade usually will allow you to depress the end of the pin.

if you have a flat head screwdriver and hammer, hit the side of the link to push the pin out.. be careful coz its usually hard to get it out and you might scratch the links.

I tried and couldnt do it. Just take it in, you dont wanna break anything.
