If Yahoo Answers is worldwide then why are most of the answers and questions of only America.

People do spend more time "socially" in other countries. There is no question about that. They have bigger families and commuinity life, they are out in town squares and sidewalks. Therefore, they spend less time alone facing the computer in a cyberspace community. But also, Yahoo Answers has its own site for every country. Just scroll down on this page and you'll find "Answers International."

Actually most of the questions and answers are not from America, Europe or anywhere: they come from an alternate dimension that is a very dark place we DON'T want to visit.

Whenever you are signed on, you are automatically put in the America's section of Yahoo! Answers, since you are from America.

So all you see are primarily American questions and answers.

You have to actually click on the other nations, to see their questions.

Because America has most of the worlds computers so most people will be from America.

I believe the United States has over half of the worlds computers and therefore more users to answer Yahoo questions.

The last question I answered I could almost be 100% sure was not from the USA. There is no way of telling where the questions are coming from.

I think it is because Yahoo is more popular in america than any other places.

with some of the grammar used on this thing i'm convinced at least half are non-native speakers possibly using a low-grade translator program

probably because they have regional questions, like for example, you said you live in america, so you get questions from mostly americans.
