That makes two of us... The U.N. is a useless organization that if not for the financial support of the USA would be broke. Much like the English Monarchy the U.N. and Kofi Anhan is a white-elephant figurehead, worthless and expendable. Lest's get rid of it!

Yes U.N. should be banned for ever coz.it doesn't have any potential to implement any stringent policies in the world. It's a bunch of useless members just sleeping on the salary and benefits.

Depends on the purpose of the UN. And how it keeps peace or tries to and its effectiveness. Our point of view may differ from the rest of the world.. Some may look to the UN as a saviour while we may look at it as a waste of time. Then again there are other groups that we participate in like the G8...

I say that we should push the UN off into the Atlantic. They are good for nothing. Just look at who is on the human rights panels!

All they are is a peace keeping force. They may not get involved in either side of the conflict and nor may they retaliate unless they are mortally threatened...doesn't sound like they are much good/use does it? I suppose the victims in some countries would rather they be there than nothing at all.
However I have noted that in recent years they appear to be nothing but a lap dog....but then again that's just my opinion .

It's should be a humanitarian agency like the Red Cross. The UN is good at that.

I agree with you 200%, UN needs to revise there purpose again and create a new strategy or maybe it simply need a new body. Now I do not see there purpose. Stupid war every were and they can't seem to do or say anything to stop it.

i think the UN security council is a garbage. Cannot act seriously.
Every member has own self-interests there
