i want to get a laptop but i dont know which ones are good. the ones that i hear are good are really expensive. your help please?

Dell and Toshiba have laptops starting at $500. I have a Dell Inspiron 1200 for a year now., and it can do all I want it to do. Remember that a $500 computer is just that, a BASIC bare bones computer.

I got my laptop for a great Deal at Circuit City. I have a Toshiba, and i love it. It comes with windows XP. It is light weight and great for school. I got mine for 300$ I think that they are still on sell. Check it out! good luck
