I'm not afraid of the dark nor anything or anyone that hangs around in the dark....Ive had martial arts training....

I have always thought about being in the dark in the wee small hours of the morning, living in my big house all alone. Suddenly, I hear a noise as though I was dreaming about some strange creature, huge and merciless.
Rubbing my eyes and trying to wake up I realize it is still dark and there is no light and I have to get some sleep because I have to go to work in a few hours. So, I reach for where I keep a flashlight, when suddenly...
The flashlight is handed to me.

I have been when I was a child, but now, I'm not. The only thing I am scared of is if I don't know the path, or what is in the path. But I don't mind the darkness, nor am I afraid of it.

I'm not afraid of darkness in general, but depending on where I am or who I'm with, it can be pretty frightening. If I'm at home in my room and it's dark, I like it. (It's peaceful and quiet.) If I'm with my friends outside playing manhunt in the dark, it's tons of fun. But if I'm in a graveyard alone, I would be scared to death. On the other hand, though, if it was light out, I wouldn't be scared at all. Do you see the connection? Darkness can be scary in a lot of cases, but not in general. Cool question!

Not if I'm in my house. But if I'm in the dark in an unfamiliar surrounding, I might be a little scared.
