Very tapered slacks and jeans, turned up collars on boy's shirts, pointed toed shoes, greasy, complicated hair cuts for boys, bee hive hairdos for girls, dresses with empire waists, girls wearing boy's class rings on chains around their necks (which usually POed the boy's parents who'd paid for the ring), girls wearing boy's letter jackets (which POed the boy's parents who'd paid for the jacket), and owning a 1955 Chevy with the bumpers removed.
