Depends on the length of the poems. Ex. Shel Shilverstine's poems are uuber short and he has like hundreds in his books

Must publishing companies would recommend that you publish 20 to 30 poems in one book - depending on the length of the poems involved.

Hey, I personally think you should put a big variety in the book. Are the poems like children or are they from the heart. Because if they're children poems I wouldn't put that much. But if it is from the heart then load it up!!!

If you are publishing this book put as many as possible into it, the publisher should edit it for to determain which ones remain.
