Too many. More died in Vietnam than in Operation Iraqi Freedom (not to say that the deaths from the Iraq war aren't significant.......they are very important).

Estimates are about 58,000 plus killed in action and over 350,000 were wounded and about 3,500 are still missing in action.

Is history going to repeat itself yet again?

52000 American soldiers were killed in battle. I've heard that more than that died from suicide and other causes
