No. They're not a scam..they may be good, mediocre or fabulous at what they do, though. They energize you, motivate you, mentor you and give you the necessary SHOT in the arm. Some people are adaptive to this type of thing. I give it and receive it very well, personally. I am just the type that sees and encourages the best in others through empowerment and optimism but I can sit on my butt all day and not utilize my talents when I lack goals and motivation. Some people capitolize and take their fees too far, but other than that I think it is a very worthwhile investment to have a life coach.
