Are the bodies in CSI real?

Question

Maybe I didn't phrase my question very well. Obviously actors are used but are all the body parts just props?

yes they are fake body parts and "dead people" just done with a lot of expensive make up to make them look real and gorey

yes course they are they have to get a fresh stock from the hospital everytime they film ermmmmmmmmmmmm i dont think so
its tv dude get real if you look closley some of the actors are still breathing just and the parts are props very realistic ones but still props i dont think too many people donate body parts in the intrest of the movie buisness medical science maybe but not hollywood can you imagine at the oscar ceramonys the oscar for best supporting limb goes to bill smith who died several years ago but we still use his arm on big movies and csi

I don't think they use real body parts, but just props. For one thing, it would not be very health to have real body parts on the set. There might be real ones in jars of formaldehyde though.

Yes. But last night on "The Closer" they had a severed head, and I thought, no, there is a body underneath there somewhere. Then the coroner picked it up off the table. And I thought, oh, that's so cool.

No, the body parts are not real. If there is a body being dissected, they place the lights so that it appears real, but is just a dummy that they can cut open.

No they are not. Sometimes the real actor is seen wearing a prosthetic appliance but for the most part they are fake.

thay use real people in the scenes and dummy's play in the stabbings and when thay open their body parts

They get there parts from cadavers from actual morgues.
