Yes, depending on the cost (purchase price and maintenance) and the optional equipment. A cleaning-bot would be nice, and it would be especially useful if it was fluent in over six million forms of communication. And then there's the Orgasmatron, of course.

I already have a robot and to make it more controversial, it has A.I.
I built it for a class. It used, and is still using, A.I, to teach itself to walk. Which is a lot harder than it sounds, it has 10 legs.
