You don't. Leave him or her if they can't treat you with respect.

You CANT get anybody to change the way they are. They change if they want.

You know deep inside you that there is something wrong and that's why you ask. Only you know if: (1)his actions were always like that or (2) if this is just a recent thing cuz you two have problems. If it is the #2, just have an honest conversation with him to find out what's wrong. But if he was always like that(2) and you just dont want to admit it then you know the answer.

Respect yourself and give yourself the value that he's not giving to you...I wish you sucess!

If this person has not treated you well now, they never will. Not sure how it happened, but sounds like you are being run over. Get out while you can.

If you care enough about this person to ask this question you must care enough to try to fix this relationship.
I think that you need to discuss this with the person and I bet you have.....do you treat this person as you do others? Ask....you may be surprised by their answer. If it is a don't care answer then you know YOU can't fix it alone....but if it an eye opener help each other be more loving and kinder and you start first.

Start by sitting down and remind her how your treat her, that you really care about her and hope she'll treat you just as good as you treat her.Give her a hug and thank her for listening to how you feel.

First tell him how his actions make you feel.
Nest, tell him that you would like to be treated better by him and be specific. Give examples of when he has not treated you well.

If things don't improve, or only improve temporarily, cease contact with this person. You deserve to be treated only the very best by everyone in your life. People who truly care about you will not hurt you. They care for your feelings.

leave the jerk. you can't change a person, if he already does not have that quality, then he most likely never will.
every person in every relationship deserves respect, otherwise it would be a sick relationship.
