in the meantime, has anyone ever felt like they had a lump in their throat? It's not an actual lump that can be felt when you touch your throat but a a sensation like there's pressure on the base of your throat. Kind of like if someone was putting pressure there, if that makes sense? Anyway, this has gone on for several months and I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this. If so, what were you diagnosed with?

Yes, my friend had a growth removed from her throat.
My uncle just had a goiter removed that made him unable to swallow.
I have had a swollen thyroid gland that felt like that but also hurt - treated with antibiotics

I also still experience the same feeling (but no pain) from stress and anxiety. It gives me the proverbial "lump in the throat" as if there is something stuck in there. It can last on and off for months.

I've had that same feeling before

I think mine was caused from allergies and continual sinus drainage stuff going down my throat

I don't think mine ever lasted quite that long before, but has gone on for weeks at a time....
