If you have been having this problem just over the last couple of days, then it is probably Yahoo. I have been experiencing similar problems with them, as has a friend, but you are lucky in that you can actually read your emails - I can't get to mine at all!!

are the ones you are reading already downloaded to your computer? Which email program do you use? Who is your internet provider?

its either your provider is experiencing difficulties or someone might have access your email.. contact your email provider and check it with them.
