Ok
You just need to have an "external hard drive", you can purchase it at your local computer store.
And find someone to walk through the step with you.
i hope this helps you

I believe there's a way you can save your bookmarks to a file on your computer. Save that file onto a CD-R(W) or a flash drive. When you get your new computer you can put the file on it then upload it to IE. There's also programs you can get to transfer things from computer to computer. Don't know if you actually can do that or if it will work but you could try.

In your old computer open IE. Goto File->Import/Export->select export favorites. Save it to a CD/floppy/USB thumb drive (or even email it to yourself :) )
In the new computer, open IE. Goto File->Import/Export->Select import favorites. Point to the same file which you exported from old computer and you will get back the same set of favorites.

Assume that you are using Firefox because that is what I am using right now. You can export your favorites as an html file. When you use your new computer, you can import that html file on the new computer.

you could do a cut & paste of the addresses & either email to yourself or save on an excel file that is saved to a disk. There may be an even better way, but that is all i can think of.

Yes, in either Internet Explorer or Firefox, there is an option for importing and exporting your favorites. The first link in my sources is for IE, the second for Firefox.

Don't get Dell....they will rip you off. We know because when we went to send our rebate, no one told us when that had to be in and we found out that in the fine print, it had to be in 30 days prior to purchase.
