do you think its right that people can hold signs up on the side of the road with a picture of a pair of clamps holding up a fetus's head, in the middle of town protesting an abortion clinic opening in the town?

Do I think it is right? No...These people need to remember that while their focus is the younger women, the area that they are protesting in is also an area that children are. Children do not need to be seeing these types of photos. While these people have the right to protest - provided they have obtained the proper permits - they do not have the right to subject children to these photos.

I am very pro-choice. To have an abortion is a private matter and not the business of these pro-life fanatics, yet they have the same rights as the rest of us - free speech which allows their protests. Too bad they are so narrow minded that they do not realize that the other right that everyone has, the right to make out own decisions.

No I can see if they were protesting but Not showing cut up fetuses on 6ft by 3 foot poster boards. They were where I live yesterday and my kids were very shaken by it and there was no way to avoid it since it was on the main street I had to go down. I feel if they wanted adults to see it then they should have stuck with the flyer's. Having young children see that and being tormented and shaken by that is wrong. To me it would be no different then strip clubs parading around naked women posters in the street and having children see it. If you are going to protest do so but not with images that can cause children to terrified and sick. I called the Mayors office and city attorney. I also called a attorney about suing them for causing my children emotional trauma. They want to play dirty I can too. There are proper ways to protest and I can respect that but not the big boards with mutilated abortion babies. That's how I feel about it.

Well, I am an animal rights supporter but do not like to see graphic pictures of animal abuse in public. Those graphic images are seen by small children and I think the standard of what's appropriate should be guided by consideration for wanted, living children walking down the street. After all, children's rights are what the abortion protesters are trying to protect, no?

No I don't. I think abortion is horrible and hideous, and it's too bad that more people don't stop and think what they are doing to human life when they perform an abortion.

I think it's important to educate people, so they will understand how horrible it really is... not just sweep it under the rug and pretend it's all good.

But, no, I don't think side-of-the-road is a proper place for that kind of thing. That's going a bit too far.

I don't think its a question on right or wrong, rather a question of whether we like it or not.
Personal opinion does not dominate our right to expression, (thank god,)
My personal input.... they have every right to express their concerns on a social problem or issue.
I wouldn't want my kids to see it, although I will be picking a time andd place of my choosing to present this touchy subject to them.
If they were to see this display then I suppose our conversation would begin alot sooner than I had planned.
The truth is that a pair of forceps and a baby's head is not the worst nightmare committed in clinics that are set up to terminate life.
try investigating what is referred to partial abortion.
I think your question may turn to asking if that is right or not.

I highly encourage these anti-Christ to use whatever force needed to advertise their beliefs. They are followers of the anti-Christ that believes it is right to kill doctors, bomb clinics, harass women and destroy peoples privacy. They are followers of a god that supports what they do. These people prove my point.

My God is a loving God, He does not condone the tricks of the pro life god. He has taught that the tools of the pro life movement are sinful. And my God does not kill in abortion. In fact my God invented abortion and uses it daily in the form of miscarriage. And it is good. God uses abortion to end pregnancies caused by rape, fetuses that are unwanted, parents that do not need a child and for a host of other reasons. And my God loves life so much that unlike the god of the pro lifers, he grants eternal life.
So these people should continue to do the will of their anti-Christ. It is the melding of Darwin and God.

No...I almost crashed my car when I saw it in my town and was disturbed for a long time after. I know that is their intent, but children also see it and then parents are forced to explain that disturbing picture. I'm an extremely sensitive person and I was very upset to see that.
