I have read alot of dean Koontz and all of Stepen Kings books any suggestions from anyone I want to read a novel that is bone chilling

I've read all those, too. Have you read "The Witching Hour" by Ann Rice? It is so very good. I'll never forget the ghost, Lasher, and the Emerald necklace.

My very favorite book of all time is called Swan Song by Robert McCammon (?). It's not "ghost" scary, but if you like The Stand by Stephen King you will love this book.
