The mother is autistic. the children were not abused nor neglected in fact the mother took care of them well it was her situation someone from one of her services did not like her nor did they know how to deal with her and the children were taken away for a can of beer on mother's day the mother drank half to celebrate.NOw the children are in the system for a year and the won't give them to a family member who can provide for them. Also well capable of taking care of children with disabilities.

children are not just placed in the "system' for no reason welfare only takes children that are being abused or neglected.. So no unless the parents are willing to go to parenting classes or whatever the state has to offer help them be better parents they do not belong keeping kids they are mistreating..

I really think people dont consider the child enough in these situations...children cant be placed somewhere just for someone elses benefit but for their own...i think children should have the right to refuse or to accept where they have to live and who they have to visit-its their lives not ours
