I'm going to be a junior and just moved to a new town and am going to be going to a new high school. I was wold to start school two weeks late to stand out rather then going to school during the first two weeks which are usually hectic. Any suggestions? I'm a likeable girl who was popular in her old school. I also recently broke up with my old boyfriend and want the boys to notice me.

be yourself. popular girls may have access to the "elite" circles, but no one respects them. why would you want a boy to date you because you're popular? you're already likeable, so what are you worried about. i don't think you should change for anyone.

Do not wait any time to start school. You will fall very far behind and then have to spend all your time making up work instead of making new friends. You'll also have a bad first impression with your teachers which is not a good thing. Go on the first day and everyday unless you are really sick. Just be yourself, join some clubs/sports, participate in town and school activities, introduce yourself. Don't let pressure get to you and try to stay calm.

I think you should be your self. You should also join activities/clubs and ask people if they can help you around school because your new. Also be friendly with everyone and I'm sure boys will notice you since they always check out girls who are new. Trust me on that. Plus if you were likable in your old school then what are the odds you wont get to be likable in your new school. Good luck and have fun!!

P.S: Try to calm down and don't let pressure get to you.
Ciao =-)
