Quality will be about the same....in other words you probably will not be able to tell a difference. The difference is in the application. If you are looking for a simple file that you can play on an MP3 player or similar player, then go with the MP3. Many players cannot read OGG.

better sound quality and it is compatible with most mp3 electronics out there.

only fall back is that is a larger file. but if u want great quality u need great space?
