i read alot about them wanting to buy simao sabrosa from benfica but benfica has turned them down a couple times....
i think with all that money, teams should work on improving what they have rather than trying to buy one or two really great players. cause one or two players cant carry the whole team...you need 11 good players...and few teams have the money to buy themselves a brand new squad.
use the money to train better!

but really we dont desparately need a new striker because we have bellamy(welsh wonder)crouch (lanky supplier and scorer)fowler(GOD-enuff said)sinama pongolle (young goalscorer remember against arsenal 2004 he left lauren and veira for dead) mellor(remember arsenal 2004 90th )
oh yeah weve also got youth coming through like craig lindfield (class 17yr old scored on his first team debut)
