It's the anonymity and consequent lack of personal responsibility. Since nobody can hold anyone accountable, people feel free to be mean. I agree with you--it's bad form.

honey,
having a baby all alone and young is so hard. Baby's are beautiful things when your older, settled and financially secure. Anybody who tells you that all you need is love is not being realistic. I know all this because I had a baby all alone at 16 yrs. The father cared, but not enough to be there for me, he could hardly be there for himself. My mom wanted little to do with it.
I want you to ask yourself what is best for the only person in this equation who didn't have a choise. Have you ever considered adoption? There are so many people in the world dying inside because they can't have there own children. Let them be the parent you wish you could be. It will hurt, but it will change you beyond belief to do something for someone (your baby) that will be so good for them. Think of your baby. check out itsaboutlove.org if you want to.
Its not a desision ever to be made lightly. It felt like I was dying inside. And yet from the ashes I grew into a more mature, compassionate and determined person. The kind of person I like. I later graduated from college, married the most wonderful man who loves me and we have 3 beautiful children that we adore. I have a picture of a baby on my fidge that I look at and still love. But the greatest joy is knowing how happy he is with his adoptive parents. I gave him a good family, that was something I couldn't have given him at 16. He gave me a new life, which was something I could never have had otherwise.
Think about it

I don't really answer "Am I pregnant" questions because there are 5 asked every minute. I do tell them to stop acting so immature and go get a test. It's the only way they will know. I also tell them to make sure to use protection next time so they don't end up in the same situation. Maybe if their parents had told them this there wouldn't be so many teen pregnancies.

hey I understand....trust me I have asked for some advice on a couple different things about my son that is 9 1/2 months and I got some people telling me I was doing things wrong..and taht I needed to do it differently but its more of what you feel is right..you will know after the baby is born of what is right and what is wrong..but sometimes getting advice is fine to get a second opinion..but just don't listen to the rude ones...they seem to think they know best...cuz they have kids, but guess what there are plenty of others that do have kids and would agree with you...Good luck and god bless

Some people are just like that...
My mom got pregnant with me at 16 and I turned out pretty well.
Just tell people that in England when they are 16 they are considered adults and can make their own decisions/.

sweetie, calm down! you know that most of the people on here don't have sh*t else to do... at the end of the day, no one's opinion on here matters... and most of these folk wouldn't know good advice or guidance if it bit them on the nose!
you gotta take care of you and your baby... try to remember that people are rude and ignorant AND not worth you being angry and stressed out over. live life with no regrets, dear. this is a learning experience... :)

Sorry if this is rude, but why do some people on here not check their spelling before posting? It makes it hard to answer the question.
