In my opinion love should be expressed and also the lover should feel the unexpressed love. Spending time with ur lover is the best way to show tht you care. Also buy random gifts and remember his/her importand days like b-day....always try to call just to let him/her know that you love them.

Being a girl i will tell the top things that a girl really want:

1. Tell her she is beautiful

2. Hold her hand at any moment . . . even if its just
for a second.

3. Hug her from behind

4. Leave her voice messages to wake up to.

5. Wrestle with her

6. don't go hang out with you ex when shes not
with you, you might not relize how badly it hurts
her.

7. If youre talking to another girl, when you're
done talking, walk over and hug her and kiss
her....let her know she's yours and they aren't.

8. Write her notes or call her just to say "hi"

9. Introduce her to your friends . . . as your
girlfriend.

10. Play with her hair.

11. Pick her up (she loves it)

12. Get upset if another guy touches her and she
doesn't like it

13. Make her laugh

14. Let her fall asleep in your arms.

15. If she's mad at you, kiss her.

16. If you care about her, then TELL HER

17. Every guy should give their girl 3 things: a
stuffed animal(she'll hug it every time she goes to
sleep), jewelry (she'll treasure it forever), and one
of
his t-shirts (she'll most likely wear it to bed) or
sweatshirts sprayed with his cologne!! and
flowers
or something occasionally.

18. Treat her the same around your friends as you
do when you're alone.

19. Look her in the eyes and smile.

20. Hang out with her on weekends

21.Kiss her in the rain (girls love this)

22.Kiss her just for the heck of it

23. If your listening to music, let her listen too.

24. Remember her birthday and get her something,
even if its simple and inexpensive, it came from
YOU. it means all the world to HER.

25. when she gives you a present on your
birthday, Christmas, or just whenever, take it and
tell her you love it, even if you don't (it'll make her
happy.)

26. Always call her when you say you will, it may
not seem like it, but it does hurt her and makes
her
think you don't care so call even if you can only
talk for a minute. Girls don't necessarily have to
have hour long conversations every night but its
nice for us to hear your voice even for a quick
hello.

27. Give her what she wants

28. Recognize the small things . . . they usually
mean the most.

29.dont hug her friends or your friends that are
girls cause she'll feel left out.

30.hang out with her whenever you are free and u
should be free to hang with your girl friend all the
time

31.If u care about her...SHOW her!

Love isn't purely physical. In fact, it's not an emotion. To show someone that you love them, you have to know them well enought to do things for them that they love, something that one who knows them very well can do. For example, if your significant other loves to read, sometimes it is not the act of giving them a book that will show them your love, but if you sit down with them, read together and discuss the book, the time you spend with them will show them that you really care.

I listen to him when he has a problem.
I make him food. Boys love food. :)
I play with him. My boyfriend's a big kid at heart, and he likes that I don't feel silly just goofing around with him.
Sometimes I buy him little gifts for no real reason. Like I bought him one of those fancy fusion razers because he said it was cool. But mostly I'll get him little cheap, funny things, like toys out of happy meals, or candy.

This may come across as corny to other people, but when we're around my guy's buddies (or vice versa for me) and he can't be too affectionate without looking less macho, he'll either stroke my back or touch it three times with his finger for each word in "I love you". I don't remember how we started the habit but we both do it all the time when we can't nessecarily say it in front of someone else.

I listen to him. I believe in him. I admire him. And then every once in awhile, AT LEAST once a month, I do things out of the ordinary ...
like post a "Lawn sign" (like the ones at the party store but I made it myself) stating my love & affection
or
mail to his work a map of our city with a heart sticker over our location with a note reading "Love awaits you at ## Name of Street (our address.)

Plus, I do his laundry, clean up after him, raise our children, help him at work and take care of our bills ... oh and put up with him! tehetehetehe, LOL!

Sometimes it's the little things you do, like making sure you buy their favorite foods or surprising them with a picnic or complimenting them on the way he/she looks, letting him/her know you think they're hot, letting him/her how great they make you feel and how lucky you are to have him/her in your life.

I'm sure you have heard it before, but it's the little things. Like a note on the miror , or a note in the lunch (if they take lunch). Just little things like that.

Hey, it's really the little unexpected things you do for your lover that often mean the most, even if it's as simple as surprising him with his favoite candy bar, or CD.

If we really love them we will let them achieve their goals, even if they are not what we want or like, but if it is something for the good for our love ones, we will help them anyway.

Just by being with them. For example: when me and my wife are watching TV, I'll pull her close to me and hold her.
I'll fold her laundry, make her coffee, or do something for her that she would normally do herself to make her day a little better.
