I am 42 years old, I had been on antidepressants up until about 3 months ago, but finally went off them, because my sex drive was ZERO..which made my boyfriend pretty unhappy. Anyway, lately, like in the past month, suddenly, all I can think about is having sex. I can't seem to get enough. The other night, we stayed up till 4:30 am, going on and on and on. The next day, I wanted more. He was too tired. Now I'm waiting on him to get home, because I want more. What is going on? Even before I was on antidepressants, when I was younger, I didn't have a drive like this. I kind of like it actually!

Also, my bf wanted to try anal, which I was always against. But, we've been slowly trying it, and holy cow, I had the most amazing multiple orgasms with that. Now I want it that way a lot...is that ok? Will it cause problems?

I think you are running in to 2 things:
1) The effects of the anti-depressants leaving your body
AND
2) 40-45 or so is a woman's sexual "prime" where hormones are surging!
Enjoy it!
PS - be careful with anal, make sure to clean up well after so you do not get an infection in other places. If you find it pleasurable, go for it.

Anel sex isnt all that bad just be careful use protection and lots of lube you dont want to tear the tissus in there.Then that can be bad other then that GO NUTS!!!! depression pills does that i have been there didnt want it i got off one med last month and girl its coming back tell him to get with the program they always want it!!!! lol enjoy and have fun girl

While on antidepressives, ones sex drive is effected. Now that you are off, your body is responding by fulfilling an unusual amount of sex. It will ware off soon.
