Clinton was by far the better president

We have had no net job gain under Bush. The deficit and national debt has ballooned. Our lives are being intruded upon by the Christian right (worst thing that could have happened).

Let me put it to you in simpler terms: Better a President who got 10000 BJs in the oval office and guilty of civil perjury than a President who lied about WMD and is responsible for losing over 2500 brave soldiers. Time for Bush Jr to be send out in humiliation in the annals of history.

Bush was much better, because I didn't have the daily embarrassments of the clinton soap opera. It was like the Beverly hillbilly's hit DC. Awful, just absolutely awful. More people under Bush are now home owners. The stock is up. Things look pretty good to me. This country has been through a lot and he's brought us through successfully.

Well, Clinton didn't exactly get it all right, but he got much of it right. And he comes across as being WAY more-intelligent than our current Bumbler-in-Chief.

Clinton COULD have spent a lot of money by attempting to militarily squelch the various terrorist organizations that attacked us during his term, but he took such matters slow and easy, choosing to make sure that he had the proper intelligence backup before rushing headlong into things. The current administration feels that this tactic harmed us in the long run--by making us appear to be weak and vulnerable--and has lead to the "necessity" of all of our current embroilments.

Sure, it's easy to have a budget surplus and prosperity if you're not making war everywhere and allowing your citizens to be free-but-vulnerable--a tactic which the current administration feels was in error and something for which the Clinton administration should NOT be given credit.

My prosperity does not depend on who is president...and I pity the poor sods that think it makes a damn bit of difference in their personal lives. I have prospered under both of those guys.

The irony is that the average voter seems far too stupid to realize that their local politicians have far more effect on their personal lives than the president does. But when it comes time for elections, people argue about the presidency and remain completely ignorant about candidates for their municipal and county governments.

And then you have all those people that vote along party lines, which is also ridiculous. For the most part, Democrats and Republicans have become identical in the results they achieve. Few people have the balls to vote for third party or independant candidates in order to get the ineffective incumbants out of office. It's that "lesser of evils" mentality. Clue: Vote for evil, you get evil. Period.

Well let me put it this way. Under the Clinton administration I was never able to buy a home. Under the Bush administration I was able to buy a home. Under Clinton my income taxes were high under Bush they are much lower. Under Clinton Terrorists struck our military and civilians abroad with impunity under Bush we are taking the fight to them. So over all I would have to say Bush.

Bush Jr.

Clinton recieved accolades [such as the growing economy] for actions taken by his predecessors. Bush has had much tougher issues to deal with and although he hasn't always done the job right, we generally know that he is trying and can expect consistency.

I don't know much about Clinton but I do know that our economy was during very well while he was in office.Whether that was the work of him or someone else I don't know.

Bush has done a few good things like tax cuts but is running the war in Iraq wrong I think we should be in there but his strategy isn't working.
