Can Someone please tell me the story involved with the band Coheed and Cambria?

I love CoCa, but without having the graphic novels that Claudio wrote, I have NO IDEA what they are talking about in half their songs?
Who is Jesse?
Who is Apollo?
What is Monstar? etc etc etc... I think I would enjoy the songs even more if I knew what they were about.

Apollo is a dog, belongiong to both Newo Ikkin and the writing writer
(aka the God of the story) who lives in a "parallel universe"
Cobalt and Calcium (listed below) has all the explanations, interpretations, ideas etc to help you along your way.
Many of Coheed's biggest fans don't have the comics, but Cobalt solves all those problems.
