mind??? oh dear, ....seems I've lost my mind quite some time ago. *sigh* I sure do miss it sometimes........

A little of both. I love to learn, therefore at times it's a sponge soaking up everything I can.
Somedays I just don't feel as sharp, so on those days it's more of a sieve and stuff just doesn't stay in it too well.
Isn't this true of most of us?

Sponge some days taking up everything I come in contact with and sieve other days, able to sift out what is waste.

A sponge is a contradiction in terms. An oxymoron. It holds water but it is full of holes like a sieve. I am more like a sponge. Some of my ideas hold water, but most of them are just full of holes.

Honestly? It's more like that bucket you have under that slow leak up in your attic. Without you even being aware of it.......little by little a bit more is added to it each time it comes in contact with a downpour.
Then I take that bucket and pour it out all over those that I want to share it with. Then the bucket goes back........ready for more.

I would have to say its a combo. For some reason, I can keep in what isn't useful knowledge and forget what I need to remember for school!!
