My sister and I shared a room in the basement and every night it was on we'd sneek out, push the two couches together to make a bed and watch it together. haha, I forgot about that until just now.

I loved it when I was little. I watched it every Sunday and The Walton's as well, I sometimes still watch Little house on the Prairie on the Hallmark channel.

I loved The Little House on the Prarie - I also enjoyed reading the books too.

We thought my uncle used to but apparently not as he fell asleep watching it one day (must have been really exciting). Only thing was he had put the chip pan on and when we came back from holiday my mum had no kitchen.
And the moral is............................watching Little House on the Praire can be dangerous to your health.
Believe or not this is the gospel truth.

Loved it, a Sunday afternoon family viewing time in our house.
But now just the first bars of the theme tune, makes me turn it over.
It would just make me cringe 2 watch it now, I'm 2 long in the tooth 2 put up with the moral message!

I always wanted to be like Mary...UGH, I turned out complete opposite...thankfully...who was the girl with the plaits???.....NELLIE OLSEN!!!!
wanted to smash her face in and her stupid mother, the dad was a complete walk over...sorry, i obviously have issues with that programme, must have spent too many summers running down the hill pretending to be Laura :O)

I'm to young to have watched it when it originally aired but I love to watch the reruns! I get really into it. One of my favorite shows.
