Analogy - in 1998 Turkey received information that Siria supoports Kurd terror organization PKK - it requested Siria to drop dead its support in 48 hours or to be attacked by all force of Turkish Army - and Siria drop dead on a spot

Disarm Hezbollah and Hamas and make Arab nations understand and accept Israel's right to existence. Together, try and live in peace--after all Jews and Arabs are racially and blood related.That would be ideal...but we all know it's not happening, perhaps ever. For now the civilized world should, and that includes anti-Israel/anti-American countries such as France and Germany, put pressure on terrorist countries such as Iran and Syria. (Too bad the US is warring Iraq--the only country in that region (outside Israel) hateful and capable of inflicting defeat on Iran. The Us instead of engaging Iraq should've, smartly egg-on war between the two (Iraq and Iran) and later finishing off the one standing.) The world cannot afford a mad country (Iran) develop nuclear power... Iran, much like North Korea should be nuclearly preempted if the world is to have long lasting peace.

Or how about we take away all the weapons we have been supplying to Isreal except for a single nuclear bomb. That way they can honestly say they are innocent of not instigating conflicts, but they are able to defend themselves. It has the added benifit of actually needing to be used in legitimate self defense or they don't get another until after every other Arab country gets its chance to fire back.

Great idea but I doubt it would matter. Iran wants conflict with Israel and the west for that matter. Their goal seems to be destabilizing not only the region but the world.
