In Beaver Creek State Park near my house, there is a place called Gretchen's Lock where the ghost of a little girl supposedly lives. I've never been there, but I heard that they filmed a piece there for a show about haunted places.

P.S. I live in Ohio.

Definately my cousin's house. Her house was proven and noted to be haunted by everyone who had ever been there. There were ocassional sightings of a woman who would appear at the staircase and in a bedroom. There were always footsteps that could be heard upstairs while you were downstairs when there was absolutely no one up there. The t.v. and lights would go on and off by themselves. The Dolls in my aunt's room would be found in unexpected places when they were put away, even a pastor from their church was so frightened by the experiences that he would not dare set foot in that house after he had an encounter.

Well it isn't supposed to be haunted, not that I have heard so far, but it would be my mother in laws rental house here in town.
She bought the house in forclosure and asked if we wanted to see what it looked like before they remodeled it. My husband, myself and all three kids went over to check it out.
Decent enough place, it did need some updates. The basement was creepy but only as far as a normal musty old basement would be.
She took us up to the second floor to look around. There was a room to the right of the top of the stairs and one straight across from the top.
We went to the one straight across first. Nothing amazing there. We went to the second room and before my hand hit the door I got that shiver down my spine. I'm not superstitious or anything like that, but I looked at my husband and went "oooooh". We laughed and walked into the room. The youngest started crying and my mother in law took him downstairs. I can't explain the room, it was just wrong. Not trying to be rude by running out of the house with our hands over our heads screaming we kept looking around the room. We got over to one corner where the closet and attic hatch were at and I swear I wanted to drop into a ball and scream. I opened the door anyway and my husband said "we have to go...NOW" The two boys were just staring and silent (rare for two toddlers) and kept trying to get out of the room.
We both turned and you know that feeling you get if you have a dog growling at you and if you make the wrong move it is going to attack? That was the feeling we had walking out of that room. It was worse when we went down the stairs and when we reached the front hall it felt like the air around us was at a snapping point.
Without a word my family and I loaded up in the car, told my mother in law "nice house" and went flying out of the driveway.
Since then I've been back and there was no problems at all. Till I went upstairs to that room and opened that door. I swear it was even worse and still that same feeling that if I ran I was going to be hurt.
I'm not pressing my luck. Ghosts or not that place is just downright scary.
