You left out The Shield - how could you leave that one out? And don't forget the Iraqi war series "Over There" which is supposed to come back. Considering what garbage is on the regular networks, I'd tend to agree with your assessment of FX. The programs are more realistic and gritty.

I really enjoy The Shield, but HBO has the best TV shows with Entourage, The Sopranos and Deadwood.

I will not admit it. They have some good shows (especially "Rescue Me" and "Philadelphia") but they are behind all four major networks, WB/CW, Comedy Central, E!, Discovery, and more.

HBO has Entourage.. which is also a great show...
and King of the Hill reruns!!

I LOVE RESCUE ME!!!!!!!! It is such a good show. I just started watching it this season and boy have I been missing out. It is hilarious! I love how rescue me is a comedy and a drama all in one. I mean what more could you ask for. FYI Rescue Me comes on tonight! Woot Woot!
