because they're probably dragging and need some serious caffeine. And soda's loaded with it. Water just ain't gonna cut it this time, Gripps...

It's often more readily available than water. Water fountain water is icky...tastes metalic and is usually piss warm. Soda from a vending machine is ice cold and so feels thirst quenching at first.

Cause it is all full of sugar and people crave sugar, but it doen't help with thirst at all. Most people who drink sodas generally don't drink much water so like you and I crave water those people crave sodas.

I am a water fan myself!
Ice cold water in crushed blended ice with a little lemon juice!

I like the caffeine in it. Caffeine gives me a pep in my step and makes me feel like I can get throw my day, and coffee just tastes a bit to bitter for me!

I don't understand it either. With all that fizz, it doesn't go down easy at all. I prefer really cold water or unsweetened iced tea.

Beacuase the caffiene is so addictive, you just cant help it, well at least some people who are addicted to pop, tend to drink it, like its water.

because soda is yummy and wet, but... i love iced green tea by turkey hill. thats all i drink other than corona!!
