.I think it is very possible he will. There is a great deal of young talent out there but you have to consider there roles and the amount of playing time. Davis will be an impact player right away where other young talent may or may not. Sure there is QB issues but come on who cant throw the 5 and 10 yd dump off passes to the tight end. Davis is a good enough athlete to turn those 5-10 yd passes into 15 and 20 yds.

Now for all the rookies, it's not the "We all know h e's going to do well" Type of thing. It's more of the "Wait and see to find out for ourselves."
I dont think Mario, Reggie, Vince, AJ, and so on will make a strong start, why? Well you have to remember they are rookies. And as the year goes on they will get better. Carnell Williams was rookie of the year in 05-06 season but struggled in the playoffs and ended up loosing. I think Vernon has the best chance because he's bigger and tougher. But i also believe that just because they counquered the collage years, doesn't mean they can win over the pros.

He is a very likely player to get it. People saying Reggie Bush...shut up...he's sharing time with McAllister, who, given the situation of New Orleans sucking, is probably one of the better backs in the league. Bush wont be that dominate, but I wouldn't be suprised if his hype is the reason he's picked for it...he probably wont deserve it.
Vernon Davis is in a system that needs him...very badly. If he can rake in some numbers and help that offensive line.....he'd be my pick for rookie of the year. He'd be the guy I would think would have all the hype...being that he was just incredible in college and at the combine. A TE like that is very hard to come by, not many teams have them. But yeah...I think Vernon will deserve it the most...but because the hype around Bush, he may not get what he deserves....which rather sucks...kinda like Bush winning the 2000 election without a popular vote....silly..

It won't be Vernon Davis. There is no denying his talent, but he has to rely on someone to get him the ball, and that's why he won't be rookie of the year. Alex Smith isn't good enough yet to get Davis the yards and TD's. I'm thinking it'll either be DeAngelo Williams(starter Shaun Foster has durability issues) or LenDale White. I think Tennessee will get White a ton of carries, and I think he'll make the most of them.

Reggie is gonna sit out the year because the saints won't pay him. Vernon Davis will be offensive rookie of the year. could be a close race between him and d'angelo wlliams of the panthers, because i don't think deshaun foster can stay healthy.

He has a good chance bush will be spliting time with mcallister so he has no chance. The only real offensive producers in the top ten are davis bush and fergerson. Fergeson can't since being a Tackle he has no chance eso Davis would really be a logical choice.

WRONG WRONG WRONG
It ain't Bush or Davis or any other overrated sack of dung.
It's gonna be the person with the best fit.
J. Addai will be the ROY.
Dominic Rhodes will be the back up by week 2.
What a great situation for Addai.
Great offense, great QB, great line, and a great fit.
It's like going to the prom with Beyonce and Angelina Jolie on each arm...you can't lose.
Addai, you heard it from me.

He has a very good chance, but his QB ( Dilfer or Smith) must be consistent
