me and my girl hada sex on the first day of her period, and the condom broke. what are the chances shes going to get pregnant?

If she had her period then the womb lining was being shed. Your little soldiers would have to be super-strong to make their way through that flood. If they got there they would find no viable egg (in all probability), so no harm done. How long had she been on? If it had only just started she may be able to conceive, but if she was near the end I think that she is safe.

Go to a doctor and have her take a pregnancy test and/or the morning after pill. Be more careful next time and learn to use a condom right. Maybe also consider an added method of birth control: the pill, or the shot (Dep-Provera).

Chances are very low, but wait a few weeks and then have her take a pregnancy test just to be sure.
