for how dumb it sounds i love any and every type of 80's movie..problem is i never know the titles, or names of the actors in them to be able to buy them on dvd..i usually seen 'em on cable and so forth..can you guys please list some great ones you favor.from horror to comedy to those "teen" movies, whichever! thanks!

Have you seen Brazil? It's really cool and bizarre. Other than that, these are all chick flicks, but they're great- for campy 80's appeal, see Flashdance, Valley Girls, Grease II, and Prisoners of New York. For timeless great movies, see the Breakfast Club , Moonstruck, and Mermaids. Oops Mermaids is from 1990, but that's still pretty 80's.
