Wisdom and experience, with enough memory of innocence that our hearts remain open.

Wisdom - although it is accompanied by accountability; which may make people believe it isn't better. But with wisdom you can teach and lead whereas with naivety you're left to follow.

Innocence - I see innocence as purity, uncorrupted by the world.

Wisdom is better.
Naivety can hold you back from experiencing life to it's fullest. Though it (may) protect you from the more gritty realizations & truths of life, having not experienced those things...are you really living life? Living through all of our life experiences (eyes wide open)...through all of the good and bad and all the in-betweens in our lives ...wisdom comes. Wisdom to share with others, with the world in general.

I love Plato's Republic! (in response to a different answer).

But I would say that both are essential, and both can help others. Wisdom makes it easier to teach, but naivety is the delight of teachers and relieves us of the hardened opinions we can get of the world. I would say I am both, but particularly naive and happy 95% of the time ;)

My choice is wisdom, but there is a time for innocence. I think it is important for a child to hold onto innocence as long as possible. It keeps getting harder to do that in a world that loves materialism. Also, it is a dangerous world, and sadly, our kids need to know as soon as possible.

Wisdom and innocence. Look at Socrates. He had both. Read Plato's The Republic and you can see both in action.

Wisdom is better.
You can do so much harm in innocence and not even know it. Education is the key to everything.

Experience is better because you'll become familarized w/ something enough to know exactly what you're dealing with...

One follows the mistakes of the other, neither is better, both are inevitable, stages in a lifetime.
