eh, i would say Caribbean dancers are better then Jamaican, simply because there countries are not as poor. I've been to both places, and there was more dancing, and music in general, in the Caribbean. Jamaica was a sad place to visit, while pretty, the poverty is terrible.

No come on! Dance is a world thing. Do not try to claim it for any one group. Some dances are very different and one group would fail dramatically against another.
Carribean people may be good at some dances and appalling at others. How then do you judge them?
Get real!! The world has a wide variety of dance styles and abilities. Do not be bigotted, sit back and enjoy the fact that we are all different and good at some things and not so good at others.

No, but people of color seem to be moreproned to rhythm and therefore salsa works very well. Why is that? Fewer inhabitions and more in tune to the music?
