What is the big deal about that area? It seems like every group hates every other group over in the west bank/Isreal/hasbala. I mean what causes them to hate eachother so much?

you have 3 competing religions, all of whom believe they should be the only religion, and all have their Holiest of Holies in that geographical area. What ELSE would be going on? Of course they're killing each other....all in the name of their god....

who knows. It's been going on all around the middle east for about 3000 years. Every known civilization has gone through there. It's not only the craddle if Christianity, Islam also has big religious sites around there. Plus, that area is a sort of highway between East and West. Power struggles will occur.

If your life conditions are very weak and you have no hope, your brain can be easily washed and you believe the stories promising a better life after your death. So you begin to act as to achieve the happy life at heaven. Deserving of heaven, you do everything! How can you tell that, life is worth living, to the poor and desperate people of an invaded country, who is face to face with an oppression every second?

The Arab Muslims hate the Israel Jews.;
They keep attacking them for no reason.
Muslims also don't like them for what they did in that area, the Jews made it livable.
Just another reason to hate them. If the Jews can do it then anyone can do it, and the Muslims don't like that.
Muslims want to control all Arabs and don't want them to think they can make a better life without them.

Jewish have live peacfully with arabs for 1000's years what happened to them, have they being killed or slotared.. No.
In palastine, Iraq, Egypt, etc, jewish people have lived peacfully and with out any problem.
what happened then, the europians wante to get rid of the jewish people in Europ and gave them palastine as their promised land and they kiked out the palastinians and you know the rest..
So why on earh, a plastinians, should like the israelies. I ask you again, do you like your invador..
