I moved from a tiny little school to a very huge junior high when I was in seventh grade. Because you'll be new, you (and the adults and other students in the school) should expect that you will have some trouble finding things and places in the school. There will usually be someone you can just ask if you get lost. Maybe, too, there'll be some time when you're in a hall and are lost and there isn't anyone to ask. Just find a door or a set of stairs and muddle through until you either find what you're looking for or find a person to direct you. Sometimes schools introduce a student to a new student and give them the job of showing the new kid around. You probably will also meet other kids who are willing to walk to classes or lunch with you while you're new. These first new friends you meet may not be the friends you end up hanging out with, but always remember them for being there to help you when you were new. Don't worry about who's in the in-crowd and who isn't because it isn't likely to be the in-crowd who'll be there to show you around (unless you are so devastating appealing to them they just come sweep you into their group). You'd be surprised how little time it takes to get to know a new place. Whatever stories you've heard, just make sure you hang out with decent kids and mind your business. You shouldn't have problems for the most part. Every kid there (or in any other school) didn't know the school at one time. You'll be fine.

6th Grade is always a panic! You are suppossed to at least get a schedule... that way u know your classes.. If they are teachers in your hallway, don't be afraid to ask... Changing Classes are sometimes hard, but on the first week of school, you get kinda confused, but you'll get used to it.. and do not believe the rumors or the stories at your school... Big Schools may look scary, but they are actually pretty neat.. Make Awesome Friends and stay with the right crowds!

Its hard for some people to move because they feel they dont belong sometimes. When ever you move and go to your new school ask teachers or people around you. They will help.Dont panic.Just ask people around you where to go.Hope this helps.
