Have you been on any medication, or exposed to any toxins? It sounds like toxicity to me, I had similar symptoms because of the drug Larium. The effects can last for a long time after you stop taking it. Talk to a doctor.

Like a lot of the other people have said, it sounds like it could be stress related. It may also be a result of depression (which can result from stress). I know for a fact that you don't have to actually be sad or feel down to be suffering from depression.
Another possibility is that you're dehydrated; have you been drinking enough water? I know that I wake up a lot when I'm dehydrated and I tend to have a nasty cottonmouth feeling.
So first, make sure you're not dehydrated, then look at your life and see if there is anything that may be stressing you out.

I'm not a health care professional and don't pretend to be but it sounds like you're experiencing some sort of stress. Look at the things in your life that have happened lately... Something going on at home, school, work? Has something got you worried? How you can resolve this is to complete deep breathing and stretching exercises before you go to sleep. Try to imagine something relaxing and just let your mind clear of everything that's bothering you so that you sleep.
What I like to do so that I can sleep at night is to pray that God will support me in dealing with the things that are bothering me and to help me to sleep in peace, knowing that He has a plan for whatever it is that it happening to make me upset. That way, I know that He is dealing with my problems while Iam asleep and I can have a restful sleep knowing that I don't have to be in control of everything. It is much more relaxing to know that the one with the flight plan is the one flying the plane, if you get what I mean.
If these problems continue, please see a physician and maybe they can prescribe a medication that will help reduce your anxiety so that you can sleep. A side effect of good sleep is that you will be more able to deal with anxiety and the things that are bothering you may not seem quite so hard to handle.

it's pretty hard to say. somebody here is surely going to say you're pregnant. barring that, i would wonder about acid reflux. that can cause all the symptoms your are having. the bad dreams, etc., are often a sign of excess stress, but also can come from being uncomfortable in your sleep. you wake frequently, and have bad dreams when you do sleep because of the discomfort. this is just one thing to look at. i suggest you contact a doctor. in the meantime, you could try chewing some tums or something just to see if it helps, especially right before bed. don't exceed the maximum dosage on the label, though.

I'm thinking it may just be a combination of the heat and some stress that is keeping your subconcious busy.
It could be pregnancy. Maybe you should check that out first before seeing a doctor.

can you think of something from about a week ago that might be causing this?
were you taking any medicine that you stopped taking a week ago?
did you start taking any medicine from a week ago?
could it be stress or pregnancy?
Associated stomach cramps, loose motions, fever. anything else.
last but not least....go and see a doctor for a thorough history and physical.
