My husband and I are trying to have a baby. I went off BC on July1. I have been having some cramping, fatigue, tenderness and fullness in my breast and headaches. However I'm not sure if it's just hormones from getting off of BC or if I'm pregnant. For some reason my husband and I feel we're pregnant. Please help! I can't take a test until the 29 or 30 of this month.

when my wife and i went for our first we decided to wait the recommended three months after she came off her pill régime.

only we got understandably sloppy with our use of other bc methods - and took some chances here and there.

she fell pregnant during her first natural cycle (and it all worked out very well).

on the other hand you do have an abreaction when you come off artificially controlled periods - so you might just as easily be feeling that.

but strangers on the other side of the world can't tell you if you are pregnant. you really will need to wait for the test.

I didn't experience any of the symptoms you described coming off birth control. Although those symptoms describe PMS really well. You might not remember since you were on bc and that seems to make the PMS symptoms easier to deal with. I think you're supposed to use an alternative form of bc for a couple of months after stopping the pill. Wait a few days and then take your test, keep in mind that they can have a false negative so if it comes back negative you might want to call your doctor. Good Luck.

If you are, consider yourself very lucky. I got off of BC over 8 months ago and still no luck:( I am supposed to get my period august 7th so I think the earliest I can test with a hpt is the 5th. Good luck, I hope you are preggers and have a happy, healthy baby.

I really hope you are pregnant but It usually takes a few months for the body to readjust itself back to "normal". But, then again it is possible to get pregnant on BC pills. So hang in ther euntil this weekend.

BTW most pregnancy tests can tell you if you are about 5 days prior to your period.

Patience Patience Patience, it will be the hardest thing you will have to endure, for now at least, but the only thing you can do is wait... you don't want to rush something....

If you are pregnant, then great and congratulations, however, it could also be symptoms of your period coming on...

It could be anything. You really should wait 3 months before trying to conceive.

--it is possible you are pregnant. However your body is still adjusting to the lack of drugs used for B/C so there maybe side effects as the body prepares itself for normal existence.
