it's rare but you can still be pregnant and have your period at the same time. But i wouldn't worry about it in your case. You can always take a test if your period does not arrive next month. Next time remember to always use protection, no matter what.

Yes, you can have a period after getting pregnant. Some people have light periods or spotting throughout their entire pregnancy. I had a period for the first 3 months of my second pregnancy and if I hadn't had a child before her I wouldn't have continued to retest (I knew I was pregnant and recognized the signs). If you are concerned and continue to have symptoms then it would be a good idea to see a Doctor or go to a Planned Parenthood to be tested. Some of the symptoms could be brought on by stress but if they persist then you need to be tested. Good luck to you.

Your friend is right, sometimes when your paranoid the pregnancy can all be in your head. But no. You can not have a period and be pregnant. Its just not possible. You can, however, have light spotting which some women mistake for a period because it occurs when a period is due. Its way lighter than a period and generally shorter though

More than likely if your period came, you are not pregnant. But some women have their period for several months during pregnancy. You need to get a pregnancy test to be sure...And quit being a totally stupid irresponsible idiot by having sex at your age. Why do you think Mormons have so many children? They don't use protection. Just because you where okay once, doesn't mean your sterile. By the way, you better get checked for std's. There is a very good chance you have HIV, and/or other STD's. Take care of yourself, and stop being a whore. I am sick and tired of my taxes going up every year to take care of your bastard children.

I would get yourself to the nearest drug store and get a pregancy test because it is possible to have your period for your entire pregnancy. Still having your period is not an indicator that you are NOT pregnant. The only thing that you can do at home to determine that is a urine-testing system that reads how much HCG is in your blood. HCG is human chorionic gonadtropin. If that shows up, then you are pregnant. If not, then you're not! Good luck. Please find out one way or the other as soon as possible so that if you ARE pregnant, you can seek appropriate prenatal medical care. You want to look after that baby as well as you possibly can because he/she didn't ask to be brought into this world.

~~yes it is possible to have periods and be pregnant.... usually they are lighter than normal and shorter than normal ... chances are if you had a normal period you are not pregnant... however i would like to caution you that condoms are not 100% effective... they can break, leak, fall off, and all of them have microscopic holes in them that are large enough for the hpv and hiv virus' to pass through. if you read the packages they do not claim to be "safe sex" only "safer sex" because they do have a failure rate. if you are not ready for a family, you may want to consider waiting to have relations until you are ready for a family and prefferably married as well. using a condom is like playing russian roulette, you might be ok and you might not. if you do turn out to not be pregnant, think about how you feel now as you put it paranoid off your a$$, and think do you want to go through this scare again every month of your life until you either end up pregnant or end up ready to have a baby. also, consider this, if the boyfriend is not willing to not have relations, what does that tell you? if he loves you, really loves you, he will respect you and not pressure you into having relations. Good luck to you~~

It is NOT possible to have your period and be pregnant. It is possible to be pregnant and bleed--but it's not your period, it's abnormal bleeding and could mean an impending miscarriage. If you're concerned take a test it will be accurate now.
