First of all loved firefly's answer. But if I had to choose one person from history to be it would be Harold Godwinson (fought William the Conqueror at Hastings) I would pull the army back from Hastings and call up the Anglo-Saxon Militia and then send my Navy down to clear out Williams ships and cut off his supplies. Then I would kick his rear back to Normandy and tell the Pope to screw himself and stay out of English politics. Also I would make an alliance with Harold Hadrada (the Norweigan ruler) and have him attack Normandy while I am attacking William in England.

First have to say that Firefly's answer is very funny.
Then I would say Mother Teresa. I read an interview one time and they asked her, how she could go on living in basically one of the worst places on the planet with so very many people who needed help. There were so many and there was no way she was going to be able to help all. How did she do it.
