yes you still have your periods. All that happens when you have your tubes tied is the prevention of pregnancy. They close your fallopian tubes which prevents the egg from traveling to the uterus from the ovary. Mine never got heavier or lighter and I never had weight gain. I had mine done in september of 2005.

My personal opinion is yes and that it depends on the person I tied mine and only have it for 3 days but and here is the but I gained weight and my period is heavier.

Yes, I had my tubal almost 3 years ago and after my period was heavier then ever.

hello there,
as for the first part - i believe you will have period because there is still a uterus, and every month it's mucosa grows and detaches from it even if the tubes are closed.

This is really gross that i know this but......
yea, my mom got her tubes tied and she still gets her period like normal. its still heavy, like its always been
now excuse me while i go puke
