I have been to Vegas about 14 times (I have lost count)
I have stayed at:
Imperial Palace...had fun but this place has gone downhill.
Plaza (downtown)...had fun, but this place has gond downhill.
Golden Nugget (downtown) nice place, good buffet, had fun
Rio...had fun
Harrah's...had fun
Hacienda...was imploded to make Mandalay Bay, but had a lot of fun.
Luxor...had a little fun, but not a comfortable room.
Bally's....casino is dull, buffet sucks, room was fine but a long walk.
Caesars Palace...great place! great room! great pool! love it!
Mirage...same as Caesars...great!!!!
It all boils down to getting a nice room and know you can walk to another hotel very easily. Don't need to necessarily stay where you play. We always have fun in vegas, but it is getting more and more expensive every year.

I was at Las Vegas a couple of years back and we stayed at the Hilton hotel but the next time i go there I want to stay at The Venetian Hotel, I have been to the casino and i think it's beautiful and there is this canal thing there, and u can rent a gondola and take a ride inside or outside the hotel! It's just beautiful!

I was in Las Vegas twice and stayed at the Circus Circus and the Excalibur.
I liked the Excalibur better, because it is newer.
If you go to Las Vegas from Sunday to Thursday the room are much cheaper than on the weekends. You can really get good deals.
If you like gambling Las Vegas is really fun. I liked to spend 20 bucks at a nickle machine and played almost the whole night.
Have fun.

i have stayed almost everywhere. here goes...
the wynn is overrated. haven't stayed and wouldn't. it is far away from all the cool things and just not as pretty as the other ones
treasure island is kind of crappy and there are a lot of children, despite what they advertise. there is a really cool club there called tangerine though
mirage is awesome. its pretty, not expensive and the pool is magnificent
the venetian is pretty, but the rooms are pretty boring. for the price you pay, not worth it.
caesars is my favorite, but i probably wouldn't stay there is i went back. i just wanted to experience it once.
bellagio is beautiful, but again i think a little overrated. i would go there if it was something special, like an anniversary, where you would be staying at the hotel itself a lot.
paris, the rooms are overrated, but visit the hotel
new york and aladdin are my favorite places to stay now. they aren't very expensive and have a lot to do on premise. plus they are kind of centrally located.
mgm, very big, nice, but i got lost a couple of times.
mandalay bay is awesome, but it is the last hotel on the strip, so you have to do a lot of walking.
imperial palace, flamingo, and tropicana are kind of rundown, but great for the price if you are not going to be in your room very much. and i have never stayed at harrah's, bally's or the luxor.
the rio and the palms are great too, but they are off the strip, so you have to take a cab to get anywhere.

I was there over the 4th of July. We stayed at the Plaza downtown, and I don't recommend it. It has become rundown, no coffee in the room, no cable tv or in room movies. Always had good rooms at the Hiltons. Check out the $1.00 shrimp cocktail at the Golden Gate. Every night on Fremont Street there are street performers and bands, and an over head light show. The whole street is closed to traffic. If you fly in, there is a double decker bus that runs between the strip and downtown 24/7. That cost us $5.00 each for a 24 hour pass.

Hey there, I've never been but I do know the legendary Palms Hotel has their last operating day on October 31st. If you're going before then, I highly suggest staying there. You can always go back another time and stay somewhere else. They are closing the Palms and putting up a new hotel in its place. :(

I have been there multiple times. The following are some of the places we have stayed: Circus Circus, Stratosphere, Sahara, Riveria, Aladdin, Excalibur. Some of those we have stayed multiple times.
We have had a good time on each occasion. Most of the visits were for the NASCAR races. Once we went on a company employee trip.

Plenty of times, MGM, Yes.
You can't go wrong with Vegas. Do not bring bf's or gf's as they get in the way of having fun.
